STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT TO CHAIN OF CUSTODY

NOMON's management has decided to implement a Supply Chain Management System 

Warranty for products manufactured and sold by the company.

The implemented chain-of-custody system outlines all management and production requirements for controlling the chain of custody, labeling, and sale of certified products, and involves the assessment of forest products from the tree to the final product, thereby verifying that the wood being sold comes from a properly managed forest.

Management provides all the human and material resources necessary to meet these established goals.

Management states that it is not directly or indirectly involved in the following activities:

• Illegal logging or trade in timber or forest products.

• Violations of human or traditional rights in forestry operations.

• Destruction of high conservation values during forestry operations.

• Significant conversion of forests into plantations or non-forest uses.

• Introduction of genetically modified organisms into forestry operations.

• Violation of any of the ILO’s core conventions, as defined in the Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, 1998, specifically:

◦ It does not prevent workers from freely associating, electing their representatives, or collectively bargaining with the company.

◦ It does not use forced labor.

◦ It does not hire workers under the legal minimum age.

◦ It does not prevent equal opportunities and equal treatment for workers.

◦ Working conditions do not endanger the safety or health of workers.
